• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I’ve owned 10 Juniors and this one kill them all!

Hail, hail the mighty 57 junior! I've a 57, 60 and 62 and once owned a 59 DC TV. Tonewise, the 57 smokes the others. I agree with the commonly held belief that 57 was the pinnacle for the junior. And, it's neck feels just like my 59 Burst's neck. Acoustically, the 57 is a lot snappier than the others, has a little of the attack and definition you might expect from a guitar with some maple in it.

Jr's are so amazing :yah

Will be celebrating 10 years with my '57 next year. The power and "life" of that guitar can still almost shock me.

Sligthy OT, almost all Jr's I've played have been at least good (most great). It seems like a good design.

hmm...i have a bunch of juniors and the one 57 pushes an amp the best so maybe 57 is 'the year' i do have another 57 but the pickup is very weak like somthing is wrong. my best 'feeling' junior is a faded 60.just has this flat feeling neck profile and you dont play the guitar it plays you, its a winner. funny thing about the guitar it had old original looking open back tuners! i put original klusons on it and it was an exact swap. i kept the open backs just in case thers a slim chance they are original (sure looked like it) anyone ever seen open back keys on a junior?
