Fantastic looking guitar, you must be over the moon. Was the neck angle reset for the conversion?

    I like it.

The treble pickup, bridge and stop tail piece look funny to me. Are they in proper 1957 position or are they off just a tiny bit?
Tell us about the PAFs! (long magnet? Byrdland? ohms?)
Where did the fat speed-knobs go?
Those look like nice big frets, what are they?
It also looks like the fretboard wasn't planed - which is very cool. That is a very dark board - also cool.
    How's the neck?
    Was the neck/headstock ever broken?
Is the pick guard from '52?
Do you have the original case? What case are you using?

I would like (maybe some day in the future) to find a '52-'54 with a guilt reducing broken neck and mostly original finish to convert "Snatch-style":

Lastly, Doty is an interesting name...it seems like it might work on several levels. Which level are you intending? Old wood or the other?

The pickups in the photo are throbak and are no longer in the guitar. The pickup in the bridge pos can out of a 1959 es switchmaster and the neck Is a 62 par #

The headstock was minor and Jim made it disappear somehow 🤷🏻*♂️

    Re: Introducing Doty

I can only speak for myself.....owners who undertake a neck-reset, & tune-o-matic/stop-tail conversion on their '52 & '53 trap-tail Les Pauls, often come away with a much improved guitar that offers great playability and tone for a fraction of the cost of a vintage '56/'57 Gold Top.

It gets even better when the subject Les Paul is a busted neck, road-dog '52 Goldtop which is salvaged and given a new lease on life!

    Man, gorgeous gold top!

Did you go vintage on any of the other '57 parts too? (or if not, what reproductions did you install? )
    - I guess you'd need a bridge and tail piece, paf cut pickguard, paf mounting rings, "top hat" knobs, and a switch "poker chip" ring. (Did I miss anything? )

Poker chip, abr1 and rings are the only parts that are repro. I bought an original 57 wiring Harness off reverb with original top hats. The tailpiece is from my 57 jr
