• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Fantastic looking guitar, you must be over the moon. Was the neck angle reset for the conversion?

I like it.

The treble pickup, bridge and stop tail piece look funny to me. Are they in proper 1957 position or are they off just a tiny bit?
Tell us about the PAFs! (long magnet? Byrdland? ohms?)
Where did the fat speed-knobs go?
Those look like nice big frets, what are they?
It also looks like the fretboard wasn't planed - which is very cool. That is a very dark board - also cool.
How's the neck?
Was the neck/headstock ever broken?
Is the pick guard from '52?
Do you have the original case? What case are you using?

I would like (maybe some day in the future) to find a '52-'54 with a guilt reducing broken neck and mostly original finish to convert "Snatch-style":

Lastly, Doty is an interesting name...it seems like it might work on several levels. Which level are you intending? Old wood or the other? :)
