Purchased a 2001 LPS little over a year ago. It didn't feel/sound right, had some work done.
Bone nut installed, frets lowered, vintage pups w/covers, wiring harness and pup selector installed.
Guitar sounds very nice, stays in tune but there are dead spots on the fret board
on certain strings.
Luthier who did the work is a Tele specialist but works on all guitars, nice fellow and does nice work.
But I would like to have a Les Paul aficionado/luthier evaluate it and get it right.
Anyone have a recommendation for some one in NYC/metro area that is a cut above?
Not just a name shop where I drop it off with a tech/rock star wanna be to put it in a pile with all the other work
but an individual that is a master at his(her) craft and is willing to spend a few minutes with me discussing the issue.
Thanks
