• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

From the Dallas show site:

Update Dallas International Guitar Festival 2020

After much consideration and ongoing communication with state and local officials, it is with a heavy heart that we must announce the postponement of the 2020 Dallas International Guitar Festival until April 30th, May 1st and 2nd, 2021. This decision is the result of our cooperation with government mandates and our sincere concern for the health and well-being of our attendees, exhibitors, performers, and staff.
All purchased tickets for the 2020 festival will be valid for any future Dallas International Guitar Festival.
We sincerely appreciate your support, patience and understanding, and cannot wait to see you next year!

Just got this email from the Arlington show sponsors.

To our valued guitar show vendors:

After months of carefully monitoring the national Covid updates from a number of sources, and systematically canceling four previous shows that were scheduled for 2020, we are reluctantly adding Guitarlington to that list. The triumphant and permanent return of Guitarlington (the "big one") to the Arlington Convention Center, was scheduled for Halloween weekend, but the Amigos have made the decision to cancel the event. A few months ago we released an email outlining an alternate plan for the show, which also included a Plan B. The Plan B option was to have a dealer-only event, shortened from four days to two. Even that abbreviated show model is now off the table. The Covid virus has affected all of us in one way or another, and many of us have lost friends and relatives to the disease. Currently, the state of Texas is one of the hot spots for the virus. Adding to the list of negative factors that played into this decision, was that some foreign participants are still unable to book international flights. In summary, the Amigos cannot, in good faith, proceed with the show, knowing that we might be jeopardizing the health and wellbeing of you, our loyal vendors.

All in all, the Amigos feel that our slate of shows for 2021 will be even more exciting than normal, and that our great industry will rebound with great vigor.
Here are the Amigo shows scheduled for 2021:

Amigo Bay Area World Guitar Show * January 9-10
Amigo SoCal World Guitar Show * January 23-24
Amigo Nashville Guitar Show * March 27-28
Amigo Chicago Guitar Show * May 15-16
Amigo SoCal Guitar Show * August 21-22
GUITARLINGTON * October 16-17

Thanks to each and every one of you for your support over the years, and please stay safe.
