• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Can't find any depth measurement for this JBL and need to know if it fits okay in the DR combo with its big round magnet cover.

Also, the speaker has been reconed with a Waldom 5685 cone..........will this make any difference in sound compared to the original.

If they are the same dimensions as the old cabinets it LOOKS like it would fit.

Hi:
Haven't been in a while, but, this post touched me in a good way.:)

While not a re-issue,my 1980 DR(blackface control plate era DR.) has a D120F with no fit issues. It is oem with this amp.

The sound is...glorious.Clean is the best i've heard.I don't drive this amp that hard anymore, out of respect for the 40 year old cone.

in my opinion,do it.

My 1965 BFDR with JBL D120F was my favorite of all amps I've owned, and I've owned a bunch. JTM50 Replica with 2X12 JBL loaded cab was next.
