• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

My impression is that not many of these come in under 9 lbs. What does yours weigh?

(I'm not talking about the Jeff Beck aged and signed guitars, just the "regular" custom shop models.)

Brother B - I'm doing well, thanks!! How great to reconnect, even if just here in the virtual bit-bucket, lol. Glad to see you're still at it too! I'll let you know if I'm ever out your way again...it's been many, many moons....

This may not be much help, but the only one I played, a friends, was very heavy. So much so that I passed on buying it when he gave me the chance. When I was in the market I didn't find any under 9.4 pounds and most were heavier.

Kinda the reason I HS'd this.
Loved the Ox, wasn't nuts aboot the weight.
Kinda the same thing just different.

Ordered it.

It was the Historic Select series which was a True Historic that you specified the build on back in 2015.

Kinda an M2M based True Historic.

Apparently they stopped doing it after one year.

I'm the butthead that got the first R4, R5 , R6 though...

Ahhh...I thought you meant Hand Selected...but that was a different program, yes? Anyway, those are some righteous looking guitars! Congrats!
