• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Hi! Can you help me identify the model of this Les Paul?

Hi! I'm trying to get 90s gibson les pauls as they have quite a nice reputations.

I came across to this guitar in online used guitar forums in South Korea.

By looking at the serial number, inlays, the head stock(the les paul model, made in usa)
I suspect that this is 94 standard.

However, the seller insists that this is a classic model or some sort of tribute model as 1994 was 100th anniversary of gibson.
Yet, from what I am aware of, early 90s gibson classic used to have a headstock saying les paul classic and had no made in usa in the back.

It makes me curious if he has any clues or whatever. He swapped out the pickups and refretted it.
He asks for like 1400$, I think it is a reasonable price and would seriously consider buying it.

Can you help me identify this guitar? Do you think this is a reasonable price? a bargain? or not?
I need the opinions of Les Paul Masters!

Looks like a 1992 standard with some changed parts. Classic would say classic and have greenish inlays.

If that's an original ABR set up then its an early Classic.
