Hallo everybody,
I know maybe I'm out of topic, please sorry-
I found an old Gibson eb-0 (yes, the bass..) with serial 882xxx and three pieces neck.
I never noticed of guitar with 3 pcs neck in 67, nor before 70s.
It's correct?

Please help me because Iìm intrested in the bass.

Thank you

Looks legit. Basses may have got the three piece neck before guitars. Guitars got them in 1969.

Looks like a '69. The giveaway is the design of the neck heel, the rounded heel with no step to the body is a '69 solid-body EB feature. Prior to then it would have been a different curve with a distinct body step. The step appeared again by later '69/early '70.

A '67 Eb-3 for comparison

Hey Gary, haven't had a chance yet I'm afraid. We have a video setup at our rehearsal space that I was planning to use, but with all the Covid craziness we haven't rehearsed in months. Hopefully one day...
