Re: Blown Away!! Music City Bridge,"Stud-Finder"; Replacement for Gibson LPs w/ Wrap-
Well, the original post came off as a marketing add rather than a review.
And, what does it matter if no one has tried it but can see that it looks goofy?
Can we not judge based on aesthetic?
Especially when there already exists a more visually pleasing option that has already proven to be effective?
Assuming this New bridge is also as effective. I mean, in tune and intonated is not qualitative?
Then we’re left with looks.
And that bridge does not look the part?
And FWIW I’m in the 50% of people who think conversions can Eff right off.
Yeah, it's actually a bit dissapointing reading the responses in this thread IMHO. It's weird that whenever someone refinishes/routes an original 50's Goldtop to get a conversion burst, AT LEAST 50% of the responses are positive like "It's HIS guitar, he can do whatever the F...K he WANTS!!", but when you recommend this, completely reverseable and non intrusive mod, the general response is a lot more negative :hmm
Anyway, this thread inspired me to put mine on again next string change just to try it again. Thanks :salude
