• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

37 mm Big Brass Block is here. Replaces stock 32mm. The stock is nickel plated zinc alloy. New one is solid Brass.
Much more low end thump, better top end & a mid bump. Simple Physics, more mass equals more sustain & resonance.

I haven't played it thru the amp yet but with medium gauge strings .011 to .056 @ Eb acoustically sounds great.
I did a BBB upgrade to my 87 Charvel and was worthy upgrade. This one is too.
The Seymour Duncan SH-12 Demon pup & the BBB im all set. Got the Brass off ebay = $20 bucks shipped.

Exactly why I chain a cinderblock to my guitars!

And my rest room key...

These bigger blocks always seem to improve the sound. Big brass, big steel, or titanium. I am definitely a fan.
