• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Here is my 1999 Classic goldtop.

Pretty much everything has been upgraded except the logos and the wood (even the inlays).

Seymour Duncan Seth Lovers, CreamTone plastics, Retrospec inlays, Emerson caps, RS pots, aluminum bridge, Tonepro bridge and posts, milk bottle Rotomatics, Tusq XL nut (soon to be nylon 6/6).

My friend Tom (who I got it from) and I like to tinker as you can tell.

I am going to refin the headstock and silkscreen a 1950s style LES PAUL MODEL on it later this summer

Looks great and I love the mods you made. It's made me nostalgic as the first Les Paul I set eyes on in person was one of my first guitar teacher's mid-90s Classic Goldtop. Now I own two Goldtops and I don't think it's a coincidence :salude

The thing I love about goldtops is you don't have to OCD over the amount of flame or the shade of burst... not that it hasn't stopped me. LOL
