Would Sperzel n.2 buttons fit Grover tuners?

Hi everybody.

I have a question on tuners button, specifically for the Grover Tuners.

Is it possible to put Sperzel n.2 buttons on the Grover tuners or have they so different measures that it´s not possible?
Have anyone tried something like this?

Thank you for your availability and looking forward to hearing from you.

Sperzel dimensions are on their website, dimensions for Grovers can be found on the StewMac website.

Have a look and a compare.

I tried in every website to understand that.
What I need is the diameter of the hole, so that I can put them on my Grover tuners. Unfortunately, no website shows the diameter of the screw hole:hmm

Sperzels don’t have a screw hole, you drill a small hole in the back of the headstock for the locating pin to sit in.

Otherwise the hole for the tuner casing needs to be 10mm or 25/64. It’s on their website

http://www.sperzel.com/installation.php

Grovers require a 10mm hole also, as per the StewMac website.

I suspect some people are missing the core question here. It sounds to me like he is asking if the buttons are compatible across brands, and that info is hard to come by (not much motivation from either brand to share that).

I suggest looking at third-party parts manufacturers that make replacement buttons only, as they would be highly motivated to communicate that very info. In the past I looked into this and got the impression that Sperzel was NOT compatible with other buttons. Here's one site I found right now that would suggest that is the case:

https://www.toneninja.com/tuner-buttons

Good luck with your search - you might be able to find a small craftsman on ETSY or another site that would have the info to make up what you want?

Yes, that’s exactly what I wanted to ask👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😊 I don’t understand why I can’t put Sperzel tuner buttons on my Grover ones and vice versa for example...
This should be also part of customizing your axe👍🏻

Thank you and I’ll have a look and ask to Crazyparts about that: they have someone who’s making replacement tuner keys...
