• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Hey all I'm trying to get the year my my LPC. I thought it was a 74 but now I'm confused and seeking help. The number is 186086. "MADE IN USA" under the number. Small vault. Fretless wonder frets. Thanks for any help!

Check the pot codes. Early 70's Les Pauls are unreliable to date by serial alone. If you have to know, pot codes, logo and serial wil pin it down, pot codes are most accurate, ime.

Those are late 73 pots and would strongly indicate an early 1974 yom. I am very fond of 70-74 era Kalamazoo Les Pauls. Looks like a killer one to me. Nice!!
