Hey all, I’m looking to find some humbucker sized p90s in black for my custom, anyone recommend any?? Thanks
I love the ones I got from Zhangbucker.
I agree with this video. I have 4 different P-90 guitars and one SG with a humbucker sized P-90 (Duncan Phat Cat) in the neck and an early '57 Classic Plus in the bridge.
I like the Phat Cat on its own, but it doesn't have the output of a true P-90 and it doesn't pair with the '57 Classic Plus all that well due to the lower volume output. It does produce nice low output vintage tones and takes fuzz really well, but it does not give the kinds of thrill of a traditional P-90, all IMHO.
Some more reading to help you decide.

Phil X used a P-94 a lot and it sounded great. I would like to try one.
