• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Cheap, as in computer plug in. I think it sounds really tweed like!!!! Don't laugh, check it out!!!

I've been trying to stay busy in the downtime, so I just finished building up a new recording computer, it's going to be used as a back up for my current home recording rig, and, I've been checking out a bunch of cool new stuff, like vintage-gear-based plug-ins. So for the first recording from the new computer, here's a fun "not so true to Zep" cover, with turned around lyrics, a guitar amp simulation by Amplitube called "'57 Fender Tweed Pro", and my Zemaitis Reissue guitar with MR2000SB pickups (DeArmond Style). I also used a great vintage echo plug-in by Bluetubes, called the "Oil Can Delay", on the vocal. Who says you can't get cool blues tones with plug-ins:)

Here's the song below that I prommised. it's a goldtop...

An older song of mine that I re-recorded last night with my, new-to-me, 2019 R4, and the same '57 Tweed Pro plug-in, but this time, I also used the '63 Reverb Plug-in.
