Cheap, as in computer plug in. I think it sounds really tweed like!!!! Don't laugh, check it out!!!
I've been trying to stay busy in the downtime, so I just finished building up a new recording computer, it's going to be used as a back up for my current home recording rig, and, I've been checking out a bunch of cool new stuff, like vintage-gear-based plug-ins. So for the first recording from the new computer, here's a fun "not so true to Zep" cover, with turned around lyrics, a guitar amp simulation by Amplitube called "'57 Fender Tweed Pro", and my Zemaitis Reissue guitar with MR2000SB pickups (DeArmond Style). I also used a great vintage echo plug-in by Bluetubes, called the "Oil Can Delay", on the vocal. Who says you can't get cool blues tones with plug-ins
