Hi guys,

That's a long time I didn't post an NGD thread.

So, here it is. I found this beauty...
An '10 LP Custom B7 with a wraptail and a single pickup.

I'm super happy with this one.
It fits my need perfectly for a raw and simple punk rock riffing machine. :dude:

The added brightness and twang brought by the wraptail is just awesome.

Another picture with its two sisters.
My R4 Bavarian Makeover and a limited run LPC in Vintage Silverburst.

Have a nice Sunday!

Thanks guys!

It's hard to find. Apparently, it's a limited run of 30 back in 2010.

Thanks again guys!

I already have three offers for it.
But I absolutely don’t plan to sell for now. 😉

Great guitar! Congrats! I had one with a single P90.
I‘m pretty sure it‘s not a B7 though. Doesn‘t it have a CS serial? Has a short tenon - otherwise the would have put the top on the guitar after putting the neck in... but who cares if it sounds good!

I wonder if it has a short tenon?

Would be cool to have one of these. As a custom order I'd make a couple of changes. Uncovered pick-up (black coils) and keep the pickup switch but wire it as a kill switch.

It would also need to be a higher output pickup.

Like a ThroBak MC-102B bridge pickup.

YMMV

It’s definitely a 57. Historic serial, coa and case.

I put a Bareknuckle Nailbomb. Now it really rocks! :dude:

This link indicates this '58 limited 2010 run had a short tenon. Makes sense since without a neck pickup the deeper pocket can't be routed. Still a cool guitar.

"These guitars are built to the same specs as Historic ’58 Reissues with a few minor changes including a lightly figured top, wraparound tailpiece, and short neck tenon."

Just saw this, congratulations! Funny how it works, I just got one a month ago. My research revealed it was a 25 guitar run. Lenny Kravitz had one and it's now for sale for $9K. :) Mine is all mahogany, historic serial and so on. Massive neck, 9.4lbs of fun.

When I was trying to find any info, really didn't show much. So, let's keep this going for posterity.

I was just looking into changing the pickup, will probably try a humbucker sized P-90 as I prefer those anyway.

Congrats again. Post some sound sample when you get a chance!

Not my bag, but good fer you.
They did a goldtop one as well, which I'd have to have, if I were in your shoes.
