Hello,
i have purchased the Studfinder bridge, a wraparound bridge by Music City. I have it installed on a 2019 Gibson CS les paul junior '57, but the strings are not aligned with the polepieces on the pickup. Does this matter or could it be that the stud holes are drilled on a different (wrong?) place in the body than a vintage '57 lp junior? With the original bridge the strings are also not totally aligned.
I've attached a photo with the original bridge, the B en E strings don't align with the polepieces. With the studfinder none of the strings are aligned.
Should i buy a different bridge? Music City specifically saythat the strings totally align with the polepieces, wich is not the case here.
