    Gas prices!

A silly diversion perhaps, but some of us can use a diversion right now.

In Springfield, Missouri I just saw $1.74 [per gallon] as the lowest price I have seen so far.

    Re: Gas prices!

This popped up on my iPad when I woke up today: "Gasoline hits 99 cents at Kentucky station, sells out."

That's cheaper than 1985! I remember watching a Tears for Fears retrospective in 2012 when Hurricane Isaac pushed gas prices upward and freeze-framing "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" for the flashback to '80s-era gas prices:

When I received my license 49.9
Ive never confused owning a bunch of high end gear with being some kind of a guitar player I'm a hack and I love guitars !

The myth :The most disturbing thing about buying a fake Les Paul is how my research after the purchase is received by Forum members ??? 2020

The Myth: Neat wiring layouts always equate to great-sounding amps.

The Myth: If I would have lived with MOM & mooched till I was 48 I would play like Clapton !
    Think about it
    won't you ...... Please !

Still close to $4.00 in CA for premium. It will never change here. Never. Meanwhile, doctors are wearing garbage bags to treat Covid patients in Sacramento. (State Capital, by the way) You tell me where my money goes. One thing’s for certain, it ain’t Les Paul’s!

    $0.779 per litre, here.

Yeah like Mike said, all gassed up and no where to go.

Yes I remember back in the 70's I paid .29 cents a gallon. Sunoco had 104 octane at .45 cents a gallon.

Way I see it when we were kids and gas was cheap we'd go cruising in the old muscle car/hot rod on the main drag. Chance to go back in time. Soon as warmer weather shows up I'm sure the Harleys and cruisers will be out hittin the streets and highways.

I'm currently getting 3 weeks to a gallon. The grocery store, the pharmacy and Fedex/USPS drop off are all within 1.25 miles from my house. The engine barely gets warm before I'm back at the shop.

Costco So Cal today...$2.35 regular 87, $2.55 premium 91 octane. The worst part is having cars that all use premium (except the truck), and there's nowhere to drive to burn it up.

So right now I'm storing $2.89 per gallon premium in 5 cars.

    It will make you cry.

On a side note, the California Highway Patrol has written a ridiculously high number of tickets for people speeding at over 100mph.

    Rookies. LOL
