Just got this:

Dear Vendors, Attendees and longtime Amigo Guitar Shows supporters:

Because of the continued concerns over the COVID-19 national health crisis, we have decided to cancel the Amigo Nashville Guitar Show 2020 that was advertised for March 28-29. The show has grown to become one of the largest shows east of the Mississippi. We have also canceled the Amigo Chicago show scheduled for mid-May.

On a bright note, the Amigos have negotiated a cool new deal for you guys and gals. Remember the convention center in Arlington, Texas? Well, the main exhibit hall, less the carpeted room, which will accommodate nearly 300 booths, will be the location of the Amigo Guitarlington Reunion Show, on June 20-21, 2020. The fabulous Sheraton Arlington Hotel will provide accommodation. This show not only replaces Nashville and Chicago, but fills a void for several east coast and mid-south show cancellations.

Snazzy photo of Arlington Convention Center deleted ...

Words of wisdom from Dave:
The times they are A-changin'.... Dylan
It is our hope that this note finds you and your circle healthy. We are reminded in times like this, what is really important. It was music and love for guitars that brought us all together. We are presently in uncharted waters, with the hope that normalcy will return soon.

Of course, for those who have already paid for Nashville and Chicago, all options are on the table, including refunds... your call.

So very sorry for the set of circumstances that caused this chain of events,

The Amigos

Slight update: nothing on the amigo web site about this yet. I will update when that changes. https://www.amigoguitarshows.com

WOW!! Thanks for posting that! I haven't been in many years, and when I found out about the new arrangements in Ft Worth, I thought I'd never go again. It's SO great that it's back in the Events Center/Sheraton "compound"--I am IN! Plus, maybe cramming everybody into the Big Room will turn out to be a cool way to do it!

Just got an email that the June show is cancelled. October 29 - November 1st show in Arlington is still on as of now.

On a sort-of related issue the August 21 - 23 show in Orange County California is also cancelled. Plan is to return there January 22 - 24 2021, which should be the same time as NAMM.

Sorry to hear that, but it's certainly understandable. Hoping to catch up with everyone in 3D the end of October. :salude

So it will still be at the Arlington (not Ft. Worth), one big room, facility? Just moved to the end of October?

Here's the email I got yesterday:

To our valued guitar show participants:
After much consideration and vigilant observation, the Amigos have decided to cancel the upcoming Amigo Arlington Guitar Show Reunion, scheduled for June 20-21. We have been carefully monitoring the effects of the Covid-19 virus nationwide, and this action is obviously the only prudent option. Our main concern is the health and well-being of our vendors and attending public. This event was planned very early-on after Covid-19 appeared, while hoping the virus would run its course sooner. The show was conceived to provide a stop-gap gathering to replace the Nashville and Chicago events.
The good news is….. WE’RE BACK HOME BY POPULAR DEMAND for GUITARLINGTON 2020
We feel that GUITARLINGTON 2020 will be late enough in the year (October 29 - November 1, 2020), to proceed as scheduled. The Amigos are excited about the return to Arlington Convention Center for the finest show of the year. Be sure to mark your calendars and make plans for this annual guitar show destination. We were able to secure this legendary venue for all future fall shows. We will be using the large room, but not the smaller carpeted room, which was repurposed to host ESports events. It is our plan to make maximum usage of the reduced space to accommodate a large percentage of the booths from both rooms. Creative floor planning and space utilization will allow us to place most of the vendors from the 2017 Guitarlington show. We have also booked the newly-remodeled Sheraton Arlington Hotel, which will be even better this year. We are almost 6 months out from Guitarlington, so cross your fingers for an all-clear announcement from the authorities and a safe environment for the participants.
