Hello,
Bought a Traditional '15, had a bridge pickup replaced by a Gibson 500t. I put the original humbucker 59 back in today, core wire welded to pot where capacitor is and surrounding shield welded onto the pot for mass. It works and sounds good but volume of neck pickup is much higher than bridge I just replaced. Tried to lower neck PU and raised bridge PU but still volumes are different (need to put neck PU on 5 volume more or less to balance). I had read they might be unbalanced from origin on Les Paul's with humbuckers but difference seems a lot to me here.
What do you think ? Could bridge PU have a pb ?
Thanks
Thom
