All you have to do is put a three prong cord in. I always keep my vintage tweeds with their original trannies. Unless they are blown, leave them alone.

just give that new paint some time ..it’ll ageAdmittedly I prefer a lot of wear and greening on Goldtops, but it was just too good an opportunity to pass.
Thanks for all the kind comments, guys. This thing is truly amazing, I am lucky to own several beautiful guitars but this is a desert island piece. Can’t seem to put it down, she is by quite a large margin the best guitar I’ve ever played. Worth every last penny. The seller also has a beautiful 1958 Junior that I have on loan, looks like she’ll be joining the household shortly.
