It's a bad joke that this was claimed to be 9.5 of 10. considering the photos show that is a lie.

I never did see really good cavity photos. The bridge pup cavity did not show the usual red. And brown back plates?

I hope no one got cheated. :wah

For giggles, I tried to get some pics and details, but was unable, as he said he didn't have them. It was marked sold within hours after being put up. That might say something.

Obviously, the pickguard is not original. Looks like early 1950’s inlays. The checking appears to have been done with a razor. Case is from the early 1950’s. The tailpiece position looks okay. Based on the photos, I’d guess it to be a mid-50’s conversion.

Funny.

Usual script......questions get asked, "sellers" run for cover, guitar is "sold".........plus ca change.

That’s truly awful. A refinish significantly devalues a vintage guitar for good reason. If the finish and patina ain’t right it ain’t right, and that ain’t right unless someone took a rusty razor to an actual Burst,

That case looks like it had a Bigsby equipped guitar in it for many years.

Where do they find the guy that writes those "ads"?
Same guy wrote the jingle for Dr Smith's Adder Juice- cures Consumption, Acne and Lady's Discomfiture...
