• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Hello once again,

I will be packing my bag and heading over to Tokyo, Japan in a couple of days now...
Very exciting for me, I've been there before and went to the "guitar street" in Japan.
It very cool so much guitar packed in a streets!

Well I was kinda wondering if you guys know any hidden places or gem that I can go to
that has a vase range of boutique vintage guitars say like Casino Byrdland, 350T, 330 and Les Paul.

Put it down here and I'll visit them!
maybe I'll take some photos and share you mates my journey in Japan

I was there last summer and can highly highly recommend this place:
https://www.theguitarlounge.com/
One of the most amazing guitar stores I have ever seen. They had easily 20 Fenders from the 50ies, lots and lots of vintage Gibsons of all sorts from the 50ies and 60is, vintage amps atc. The owner was super friendly too. Small store, but packed with the good stuff. Maybe email him before, I'm pretty sure he has more stored away than what is on display.
Cheers :salude

I would also strongly recommend Hyper Guitars and Guitar Traders; Guitar Traders in particular is like a museum....oh and if Strats are your thing...you have to head to Stratocrazy..that place is really a museum!

Have fun; my favourite vintage guitar city!

Okay yes yes yes, hmmmmm strat, they are growing on me,
particularly Buddy Guy with his 57/58 Strat, that's a pretty penny for me now...

I really want to find my '65 Casino, that will make my life arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh

will definitely try to visit these places hopefully they're all in one area so that I can
walk my way through in the icy cold day
