• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Very cool!

If I’m not mistaken, some of this footage was used in seasons 3 and 4 of the 1990s BBC TV production of “Jeeves and Wooster” staring Steven Fry as R. Jeeves and notes blues man and Gibson player, Hugh Laurie as Bertie Wooster.

Men wore hats in the 1930's. If you wore a hat with a 3" brim.....and was at a jazz gig....in NYC.....you would be a black dude and the brim of your hat meant you were 420 Friendly :peace2

You also would have been known as a "Viper" ---- a dude who smoked weed. --- No shit.

They had to be spec ops style clandestine back then. Understandable.

NYC -- Jazz -- Weed :hee :dude::yah
