Thread: Mystery Guitar

    Mystery Guitar

I've have had this guitar for about 10 years or so. Kind of guessing on that. Bought it in northern California at a guitar swap. The guy didn't know what it was and I've never been able to figure out what it is. I can tell you that craftsmanship is top-notch, the components are all high grade including Seymour Duncan pickups. there are no markings anywhere including pick up cavities, control cavities, neck pocket etc
The body of the guitar seems to have some grain I am not familiar with. Perhaps lacewood? are there any tell tale signs construction wise that may point to where this guitar may have originated? Can't imagine that it's the only one this luthier ever made since the construction is of such high quality

I have no idea who made it, but you WILL see a TON of these types in the future with all the places selling bodies and necks.

I know a lot of people who would like to build guitars who have mad woodworking skills.

NONAMES will become the unobtainum of the future...

If you like it play the snot outta it!

Become the next Jimi and that will be worth millions!

But give them $250 for it.
