• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Hey all -

I am avid LP Collector. I've seen and study these things compulsively. I just got one that I can't put my finger on exactly what it is - but maybe I'm over thinking it. Everything on it is original except for the knobs and bridge (which I replaced, but still have)

1982 Standard
Shaw Pickups
Original Tuners
Ebony Fretboard
Feels like a '58-'59 neck
Ebony Finish
(Not original knobs)

I've never seen one of these in black, but I have a small feeling this may be a part of the Heritage Series from the early 80's? Anybody ever seen one of these?

Thanks for any info!LP1.jpgLP2.jpgLP3.jpg

not sure those are the original tuners. fretboard should be rosewood.

Ebony fretboard is throwing me off. What about a routed Pro Deluxe?
