I came here to ask the professionals I have a 1997 Gibson ES 335, I need to know how to clean it but not take away the patena? Thanks

What I’ve used for many years on my guitars and basses is a combination cleaner and polish produced by Martin guitars.

Virtuoso is a 2-step cleaner/polish that I've had excellent results with. You can get it at Guitar Center and many other places.
