I would like to know which of the three would be better for a les Paul junior in the body of a Mahogany piece? The highest output can be Alnico V and the lowest output Alnico II? Thanks for your comments and help and excuse my English

The high output pup is not a p90. It may not be high OUTPUT at all as you appear to be relying upon resistance measurements as an output measurement, which it is not.

That pickup has slug Alnico II Rod Magnet, [I believe], and may have 43 ga wire. Think Jazzmaster not p90. It may be a little pokey like a Strat, but the wider coil would make for fuller tone.

The two with screw polepiece's are p90's. No telling what they will sound like in your guitar. Given the high quality of todays known p90 winders, I'd start there and not overpriced, old pickups.

Big Al thank you very much for your reply. I had read in forums that these p90 gibson are the way to go for their tone. I have a lollar p90 right now in my junior and it sounds great but I would have liked to try a real Gibson to see the difference, but if you tell me that it is not worth it, it is just what I wanted to hear. Thanks a lot. There is an error in the title of the post I put P80 when I wanted to say P90 .... now I don't know how to edit it. Thank you

The top one is from a Gibson Lapsteel. I have a a 1947 & 1948 BR-9 and the pickups look exactly like this. If you intend on using it in a guitar you’ll have to route out the cavity some as they are somewhat larger than most P-90 routes.

TM1 Thank you very much for your reply. The sale price is the same in all three models, it is a fairly reasonable price and I don't know whether to buy a modern Throback p90 pickup or one of these three when the price is very similar. Thank you
