1973 Gibson 335 wiring question

I’m in the process of installing some vintage t-tops into my 1973 ish 335 and need to reconnect the capacitor to the bridge vol pot as it disconnected some time ago.
I wanted to confirm which lug to connect it to and noticed on the neck pickup it goes from the center lug of the vol to center lug of the tone.
Looking online at various vintage gibson harnesses and diagrams this doesn't seem too common, but i think it looks like the original wiring/soldering joint from what i can tell.
though it’s possible I’m wrong and it was changed along time ago.

Has anyone seen them wired this way before and does any of this matter much to the sound?
