Is Gibson discontinuing the Original Series Les Paul Standard '60s?

    Friends,

I was just visiting Gibson.com where I shockingly was NOT able to see the 60s version of the Original series Les Paul Standard listed as part of the current lineup. Please tell me it aint so! Here's the link to the Original collection:

    https://www.gibson.com/Guitars/Collection/original

I'd like to know if this is news or my inability to use the interwebs.

    Thanks!

It is NOT there, but that may be explained from poor website management... because it remains HERE:
    https://www.gibson.com/Guitars/Les-Paul

They've always had a crappy, inconsistent web design. And seem to be upholding that tradition very well.

P.S. Wrong pub, BTW. This belongs in the USA pub.

Can you see this direct page?

Yes. I can see the $6,499 custom shop 1960 Les Paul Standard reissue at the link you provided. It is not the same as the $2,499 Original Series Les Paul Standard ‘60s model. I see the ‘50s version on Gibson’s site but the ‘60s version is not anywhere I can find it. Just wondering.

    Here’s the ‘50s model:

    Where is the ‘60s model?

I’ve re-started this thread in the Sunburst/Gibson USA section of the forum. Still learning the forum...

Sorry dude my bad... yeah, No Original just Reissue. Let's hope it's not discontinued. Would be a shame. Perhaps a dealer rep will chime in...

No problem. I appreciate the extra set of eyes looking for what appears to be missing. :(
