• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Hi all, I bought some Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickups from an authorised dealer who has sold over 50 with no complaints and I suspect mine are fake.

First there is no trademark Seymour signature on the back plates, the ageing effect is very crap with what looks like a sticker has been removed AFTER the ageing making them look odd, but the big one is they are supposed to be 7.68 and 8.53 ohms but they are actually 7.48 and 8.31.

I was wondering if you could take a look at the pictures and tell me what you think.
Thanks everyone

Why not ask Duncan?
I have but I wanted to see if any customers here can verify their authenticity while I wait for them to reply, if they reply. The ebayer hasnt replied and looking at his feedback hes not too keen to communicate with people.

Ive cleared this up now, the signature MJ is their expert pickup builder and they make to many for Seymour to sign it himself.
