• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Absolutely thrilled with this new to me 1961 Gibson GA-8T Discoverer. Great harmonic breakup, ECL82 power tubes. Tone knob can get really bright, have it set around 3. Just a fantastic find and cleans up so well with guitar volume knob.

I've had a '62/'63 Falcon for years but never knew about the GA-8T.

If you come across one, give it a try.

Cool amp!

That's an interesting time for Gibson amps. Love those narrow turret boards!

I had a tweed Maestro GA1-RT from either '60 or '61. Fun amp.

Beautiful! I had a `60 GA-20. It was almost as clean as this!
