• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Picked this up. Really cool guitar. Nice big profile neck. Light/chambered.
I needed the Rose for a new band. Removed push/pull coiltap and pickup.
Wired vintage and Dunc. Antiquity pickup. Doing some "Crue"
Anyone played one of these?

Me either, but I have to rise to the occasion. :hank:hank
The push/pull thing did nothing really but quiet down some.
I have not much use for a single coil sound like that. Dialin in the Floyd is
something else.

after a week now, this guitar is very nice. Big 58 neck.. weight is great. Darn thing will not go
out of tune. ordered a D tuna and black box for the floating bridge. Not totally convinced
on the Dunc. Antiquity. Its better than the 57 stock. I am imagining this model however
with a wraptail. That would be quite the gigging guitar.

Right tool, right application, right flippin' player. I think it is cool as hell and makes my p90 Goldtop Deluxe with state of art Bigsby whambulator look like a dinosaur. Nice to see someone using and loving it, instead of the BBB howling 'cause it ain't no '54 clone. Great thread!!

Brother, just before I couldn't play out no more, I had been gigging and touring with several single pickup guitars, (one dual), loaded with Duncan P Rails. I am a huge Antiquity fan and long time user, but the utilty and range of tones available with this triple threat pickup are so useful for me. I used the Duncan bezel with the two 3 pos switches built in, Triple Shot rather than mini switch. Just sayin', you know, something to consider.

Hey thanks. I dig the weight and balance of the guitar. Neck profile and contour.
I moved from the Antiquity to a Dunc. DD wired vintage style. (Like a 50s JR),but generally just one tone Im looking for.
This thru an EVH 5150 111 6L6 50 watt + a 16ohm 412 cab is a force. The white one is for backup. I LOVE these amps.
