• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

We had a LP Custom come thru, serial nr 139xxx, pots dating 7336, that had thin binding thru the cutaway. The maple top is clearly visible. The maple pancake is off center, closer to the back than the top. Cherry sunburst finish. I don't remember seeing any other 70s guitars with the thin binding, has anybody seen one like this? PM with your cel nr and I can text a photo.

My 73 is exactly the same. Standard for the period. I think 75 -80ish had larger binding
