• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Looking at these 3 LPs... I have SG just got, and few Fenders. These are all about 2k range. I know all subjective, but curious what people opinions are on these and their pickups and more...: Would be first and probably only LP I'd get- tested all these out in store...

Seafoam Green -- nice looking at 4 push pulls... Burstbucker great sounds...

Satin Wine I'm fan of P90 sound.....

Not crazy about any color here, not bad, but pickups seem quite impressive

My choice would be the 3rd one on your list here in the 50's model/version as I favor the bigger neck profile . While I said that the neck profile is a personal choice as I feel the bigger neck feels better in my hands . Also note worthy here is the 2019 specs feature a solid body without any weight relief which for me is a plus and has traditional electronics without the bells and whistles of the first guitar with the 4 push pulls which are nice for the variety of humbucker and single coil sounds and I believe an out of phase sound as well but don't quote me on that . My knock on that is that while it works great, but if it craps out it will be a pain to either repair or replace as the pain would be in the cost unless it is under warranty which most likely it would be for a factory brand new Gibson Guitar . Also please buy from an authorized Gibson authentic dealership . I will explain why this is important is because if something goes wrong you will be stuck with the repair costs all on your own and with a warranty you would receive factory authorized service which is a very important matter . I don't mean to frighten you because Gibson's are the best guitars in the world . Just make sure you buy from a reputable shop .

Thanks Gringo, not prettiest one, but i hear you. Those pickups are best, 50s, or 60s. I've decided have best sustain, better than P90s.

Those 4 push pulls look intriguing, anyone have 4 push pulls and how is owning that? Did not know prone to breaking down....

Seafoam green and red gorgeous, Gibson charges a bit more for beauty than Fender does.
