• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

You really could do a lot worse than CreamTone who I think make great parts for our guitars .

Creamtone doesn't make those tuners, Kluson does, or at least the company that now owns that trademark. I put a set of new double-ring, single line tuners on my '61 SG. I'd been debating that for YEARS! Wish I'd done it years ago because the original tuners were loose and sloppy and tuning was more often than not an exercise in futility. No more. They look great—and more important—they function flawlessly. If you're keeping the originals, go ahead and make the change. I'm confident you will not regret it.
