    64 SG Question

Did Gibson make SG's with a stop bar as standard equipment in '64?

I realize now that I should have been more specific. My question applies to Standards, I never even think about Juniors or Specials.

    Re: 64 SG Question

SG Standards did not have stop tailpieces until the 70s. '64s came with the Maestro Vibrola.

    Re: 64 SG Question

No stops, Bigsbys and Maestros only. There were some conversions from Maestro to stop. That being said, anything is possible. (such as a custom order) but I have never seen it.
