Differences between 61 Burstbuckers?

Both the new Original Series Les Paul Standard 60's and Modern Series Les Paul Classic have Burstbucker 61 pickups. The original has creme bobbins, but the Classic has zebra bobbins. Other than 2 conductor vs. 4 conductor wiring, are there any differences in magnets, wind, sound etc. The reason I am asking is because I would like to have the split coil capabilities of the classic, with the figured top and no weight relief of the Original. I figure I could find a set of Zebra 61s on eBay and put them in an Original 60's and have the best of both worlds.

Are these Zebra 61s also the same ones found in the new SG's and the Les Paul CM?

Any advice would be appreciated.
