Hey everyone just bought CC 24 #068. Love the color and aging on these. Weight 8lbs 4 oz. Plays exceptionally well and simply screams. Thoughts?

Yes, my favorite of all CC models. Very big tone with midrange that dominates !!! I run my pickups a bit lower. They are both 8.5K in mine with Alnico II rough cast.
I know this because I pulled the cover and somehow there was a stray wind that broke. It just happened to be in the middle of the coil so it's dead.

Nice !! I think you are really going to love it. Mine is also 8.4oz - had it almost 4 years and still waiting for the honeymoon to be over :dude:

thanks guys, I can see how one could continue to love one of these. I had been eyeballing these for a while, finally pulled the trigger and happy I did.
