Hi folks, new member here. I know intros are supposed to go in the new member sub-forum but it doesn't look like that is very active with the most recent posts from a couple weeks ago.
Anyway, the only LP's I have are probably in the "not really a Paul" category, a couple LP Melody Makers, a LP Special, that kind of thing. Those are the ones I could afford for now. But I did happen upon what appears to be a vintage LP case. I have had a Yamaha SG in it for some time but recently I started wondering the origin of the case and if there was a way to identify it as far as age and/or manufacturer.
So that lead me here since I figured with this many folks so knowledgeable about vintage LP's, there may be a few with knowledge about the cases they came in. I don't know for sure that it's even a LP case or if it ever housed a Gibson, but it definitely fits LP style guitars and it looks old but in pretty good shape overall. I'm assuming it's 1960's from the look but don't really know.
I'm going to try to link some pics as attachments so hopefully it works.
Thanks kindly, LA.
