Esseries NGD : 1963 ES-335 Varitone Bigsby Limited Run

Just received this beauty, my first 335 ever:

Beautiful guitar, plays like a dream. Loving the neck carve, slim taper but not too thin, just ideal for my taste.

Surprising bit is it came set up from CME with the pickups very low, like 4mm from the strings when depressed at the last fret. I like pickups pretty low on my LPs but not this low. This typical on these? Sounds real good but I’m about to start tinkering of course. Just thought I’d ask in case there’s some typical consensus here.

Congrats. Nice 335 . I just got my first 335 as well and realized i should have done this a long time ago. Quickly becoming my favorite. Love the Bigsby.

    Nice !!
Ive never confused owning a bunch of high end gear with being some kind of a guitar player I'm a hack and I love guitars !

He thinks the mirror is a photo of a clown ?

The Myth: Neat wiring layouts always equate to great-sounding amps.
