Has anyone installed sperzel locking tuners with the pin on the back that keeps the tuner from rotating? It's not secured with a screw but a pin. I don't have the jig or template that it normally comes with for drilling. Is there an easy way to figure out the precise location to drill?

cheers

No easy way. Ive never successgully installed a set yet. I always messed up one of the tuners.

Use a straight edge to align. Try to indent the pin into the headstock first. That isn't easy to do. Then use a punch for the actual hole. Go slow.

I never liked pin anchors.
