Grovers - can anybody tell what type these are?

Came across a set of Grovers yesterday at my local store and bought them. I'm quite pleased given that a) I've been needing to replace a bent Kluson on my CR8 since the beginning of the year and b) these are the milk bottle style which I think look great.

I'm just not sure what they are - can anybody tell if they are reproductions?

They came packed with the label 102N and marked as brand new unopened. They look to be (very minimally) used, which I dont mind. Havent installed them yet but they are smooth and turning easily.

I dont think they are the 102N as Grovers website shows 102N as NON milk bottle and 'N' for nickle designation.

All the grover catalogue images for their milk bottle style machine heads just have a blank domed back and no inscription.

These say 'PAT PENDING USA' on the domed back and look to be chrome.

That looks like nickle plating not chrome. 'I don't know about your other questions.

I've straightened Klusons. Remove the bent one and attach it to a board. Drill a 10mm hole. This way prevents damaging your headstock. I used channel lock pliers and cardboard padding or tape padding to avoid marking up the tuner.

Those are Nickel and probably from around 1960. I have several sets like that. does it say USA on the back of the shaft area?

Thanks for confirming all. TM1 - there are no other markings other than the Grover logo and the 'PAT. PEND USA'. Looks like I've done well then.. I've just seen the crazy prices these go for on reverb. i paid well under what the new reproductions go for, and I really like these. Will post some pics once I install them.
