He was an LA studio musician who played on hits from Elvis to Sinatra to John Lennon. It's incredible how many sessions he played on, which became top 10 or better.

RIP. All the musicians in the Wrecking Crew were awesome players. Carol Kaye seemed to play bass on every pue recorded in L.A. during the '60s, and Tommy Tedesco had the most entertaining monthly column in Guitar Player in the early 1980s.
