    Why I never bought a 339

I would love to have owned one but this one got a hold on me back in the early 80's and that was that.

    Ibanez AM 205

    Those are GREAT guitars!

A friend of mine still plays his in a pro band. Here's a picture from Mt. Airy Lodge in Pennsylvania. I've played this guitar a few times and it's really, REALLY nice!!!

Beautiful! I'm not very familiar with Ibanez hollowbodies, I'e owned a few of their RG series in the past though. I just looked this model up, looks like they reissued it recently but it looks to be discontinued again which is a shame.

It's a terrific looking guitar, but shouldn't this be in the "Cool Non-Gibson Guitars" Pub?

Thanks. I haven't visited here for awhile and I wasn't aware of that. I'll make sure to keep it in mind next time.

Your comments echo a LOT of Ibanez owner feelings because Ibanez semi hollow gits are pretty darn good, and I have a few. The closest I've gotten to the vibe of a Gibson 335 is my lowly Ibanez AS120.

Need to get me an Ibanez semi hollow some day. I got lots of other Ibanezes though.

    One day I also want a 339 or a 335

Ahh, the tables are turned, Gibson copying an Ibanez model.
