    Iced tea bursts?

There are so many ice tea burst reissues around now, but I have never seen a real burst in that color. Does anyone have a an example of a burst that looks close to an iced tea fade from a modern-day reissue?

Welcome to the forum but I do find your question a bit puzzling.
Almost all '58-'59 bursts seem to have now faded to a lemon or iced tea color.

All the iced tea burst reissues are a lot darker around then the bursts I've seen. They just don't look similar at all to me. (Sorry if my descriptions aren't accurate I'm kinda new here).

Yes, that's a reissue but hardly an Iced Tea sunburst. There are so many designations for sunbursts these days, especially from Gibson.

This is an Iced Tea R8:

Read the great Burst book: Beauty of the Burst by Yasuhiko Iwanade. I think it explains and shows examples of this [modern] color term.

    2005 Iced Tea R9:

    1958 'burst:

I wouldn't say that the modern "Iced Tea" finish is an exact match with this original 1958 'burst, but its pretty damn close
