• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I fitted this old bassman chassis in this cabinet. It leaves a little
gap in the front under the control panel. Exposing the amp part(s).
Should I be concerned about this 1 1/2 x 15 inch"gap"? Or play like is.
thanks

Its a little sloppy, but as long as it functions. You could close out that section with some plywood, or even painted cardboard. The faceplate doesnt look like it fits either though. Probably not a lot of options for that chassis to fit gracefully in that cabinet.

No, it slides out easily and fits proper.
If you are looking at the metal face plate ,thats been bent a long time.
