Just wondering if the nitro can be effected by the foam rubber on holders and Stands?

I have a 2006 nitro LP that is fine on any type stand.
My 2016 nitro LP is allergic to those same stands.

Perhaps nitro finishes are not all the same.

More likely that the '06s nitro has had that much more time to cure and off-gas any other chemicals.
I've read that the nitro used is never really done curing, it just gets to a relatively stable point.
Personally, my Gibsons are fine on foam stands, never had a problem. I since build a multi-rack that
uses foam pipe insulation down below and felt padding for the neck. I haven't had any issues with the Gibsons
or the bass I build using the Stew Mac spray-can nitro finish.
