• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Up for grabs is an early 1960 single-cutaway Melody Maker . This is an early 1960 model with the the wide pickup and a thicker 1959 profile neck. I also have a 1959 Melody Maker (not for sale), and the neck profiles between these two guitars are virtually identical. The neck is straight, truss rod works, and the guitar plays beautifully. The original frets are in excellent condition. The bridge is a MojoAxe lightweight compensated wraparound bridge that puts the intonation nearly spot-on.

Weight: 6.3 lbs
Neck thickness at 1st fret: .887"
Non-original parts are:
- Kluson Deluxe Reissue Singleline Tuners
- MojoAxe CWT-A Wraparound bridge
- The pots date to 1981, cap is non-orginal
- Knobs
- Strap buttons

The original alligator case is in a typical state of deterioration, but the latches are all functional. The guitar will be well-packed for safe transit. For an additional charge, I can include a hardshell case if desired.

SOLD
